Camping Trip!!

Hi again!!

I don't know why we don't go camping more often because it's so much fun. We took my brother's Jeep and the van and took off. That jeep is the coolest thing, we took the top off and let the wind blow in our faces. (I have to say I'm very jealous, haha)

Our dog Mia loves camping, she's so good. As long as we have some food she'll be happy. We got to the camping site and put up the tent. We thought since it's August we didn't need tons of blankets. We were wrong! It was freezing that night, now we know. We started dinner and had potatoes, corn, and delicious steaks. And it's not camping when you don't have smore's and hot chocolate.

After dinner we sat by the fire and looked at all the beautiful stars. Kyle had the best idea to take the jeep and find an off road. So we hopped in the jeep and drove in the dark until we found a mysterious road. That was so much fun, it was soooo cold but still fun haha!! Seriously that jeep is awesome.

We got in the tent and crashed, it wasn't the best nights rest but that's camping lol?!

We all woke up to Mia licking us. So we started breakfast, we had eggs, ham, and pancakes. Food tastes better when you're camping ha. After breakfast us kids took a walk in the woods and then packed up camp.

Last time we went camping we went to a water fall, so we headed up there but we must have passed it because we never found it?? So we just kept driving. We drove into this little town and we were almost out of gas. We found a little store and they had gas so that was great. We asked the store worker if there was a faster way to get back home and she said there was a dirt road for forty miles. We thought "hey we can do that". We found the road and we weren't worried about the jeep, but the van couldn't go real fast on the gravel. We had to go about 10 or 15 miles an hour for forty miles in the middle of no where!! That was an adventure... we passed deer, cows, huge ravens. It felt like we were on a safari. Then we were passing these signs saying "live fire range do not enter", we were freaking out, but we kept driving because it was to late to turn back. We saw those signs every 5 miles?! It's not an adventure with out some risk in it!!

We finally made it home! That was a trip I'll never forget.
